So I've been playing Skyrim for a fair bit and I'm just now getting back into the main quest. without revealing any spoilers, I needed to talk to Ulfric Stormcloak for something but he won't speak with me. He keeps telling me to do as his general asked and it was then I realized that I had accidentally started the Stormcloak quest earlier in the game. I really don't care for the imperials or the stormcloaks so I was wondering if any modders know what the console command for resetting the quest stage back to "go see ulfric"
p.s. Do you know if this will interfere with my Steam achievements?

For the second question first:
So far, usage of the command console hasn't seemed to affect Steam achievements.
For the first question:
Unfortunately, once a quest is initiated, it cannot be reset.Also, u cannot use the "setstage" command to revert to an earlier stage in a quest (unless the quest is specifically set to behave this way when it's created…this is an Oblivion observation, so it might not be correct for Skyrim).U can probably only go forward.
In order to go back, u will have to load an earlier save.
